What is the warranty period for the battery?
The battery is covered by a 1 year (12 months) limited local Singapore warranty that covers repairs to defective parts from the original date of purchase. Please see https://www.samsung.com/sg/support/warranty/ for the warranty policy.
Why is the battery warranty different from the main product?
The lifespan of batteries are affected by their usage patterns and environments and as such considered to be a consumable item. They may need to be replaced from time to time. If you find that you need to charge your device more frequently than before, and your battery life has noticeably diminished, feel free to contact us for advice.
